The Morisset Re-Signalling Upgrade is part of Sydney Trains’ ongoing investment in modernising the Central Coast and Newcastle Line, targeting improved performance through updated signalling infrastructure. By replacing legacy systems at Morisset, the project supports increased service frequency, safer operations, and more efficient train coordination.
Amplex supplied a range of axle counter, quad and power cable to support signalling and trackside systems across the site. These components are critical to maintaining continuous communication, enabling precise train control, and supporting consistent network performance.
The upgrade strengthens a key section of the rail network, where dependable signalling and infrastructure are essential to supporting higher capacity, reducing operational constraints, and improving long-term service reliability.
