The Diamantina Power Station plays a crucial role in the generation of renewable energy in the Mount Isa region of Queensland, producing electricity sufficient for the local communities and mines, with lower emissions and higher efficiencies than traditional coal-fired power plants. The 242 MW power station holds scope for expansion, meeting the growing demand for gas-fired power generation in the area.
